Welcome to QASI^®-COVID19-RT

QASI^®, the Public Health Agency of Canada's international program for Quality Assessment and Standardization of Indicators, announced the COVID19 arm of its national programmatic services in June 2020. QASI-COVID19 for Rapid Tests (RT) ensures that accurate and reliable rapid testing for SARS-CoV-2 is ongoing in Northern, Remote and Isolated (NRI) sites across Canada. QASI-COVID19-RT provides external quality assessment through the administration of proficiency testing panels, and comprehensive corrective action, training and support to those testing sites requiring assistance in achieving or maintaining quality testing standards. QASI-COVID19-RT is managed and operated by the National Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections Laboratories of the National Microbiology Laboratory, and is located in the JC Wilt Infectious Diseases Research Centre in Winnipeg, Canada.
